Halloween was great!

Here’s the video. It’s not the best, but it makes sense once you see the video.

My new meerschaum skull pipe came in. This thing is the size of my fist! I don’t think I’ll ever smoke it, but it’ll be on prominent display on Halloweens to come, I assure you.

Alas, poor Yorick!

Usually I take a vacation around Halloween, and do a big production, with monsters, skeletons, animated props…all the usual Halloween stuff.

Unfortunately, this year, I can’t take any time off, so I don’t know how big of a Halloween I’ll do. I’ll try to get what I can done. No new decorations this year, as I have a ton of stuff I haven’t even put out the past couple of years.

Also, we’ve been working on the side of the house where I usually put up my bigger decorations. With that side under construction, as it were, I’m not sure how much room I’ll have to work with.

I love Halloween. I just hope I get to enjoy it this year as much as I have in the previous years.

Just a quick note to let you know that I’m slowly uploading videos to YouTube and photos to Flickr. I’m still looking around a little to see if there’s a photo album plugin that doesn’t require a lot of work, so I can make an album or post photos on this blog.
