Sad News

I don’t usually pass news like this, but sometimes we need to pause and remember what life is all about.

There was a great loss in the entertainment world. Larry La Prise, the Detroit native who wrote the song “Hokey Pokey”, died recently at 83. It was especially difficult for the family to keep him in the casket. They put his left leg in and….well, you know the rest.

    Great conversation you have going here among the commenting friends. I’d love to play among those columns of stone!I tried to learn Greek once in order to understand the New Testament. Didn’t get very far in either. But it’s a great language. We really need to at least know the letters to do archaeology in Israel.
